Solitaire: the steel pedestal for showing a single work
One hundred centimetres tall, with a 38 cm square top plate. The Solitaire answers a simple and frequent situation: one work, one space, and nothing to carry it.
A good pedestal is one you do not notice. The Solitaire commits to that discretion: balanced proportions, clean edges, no decorative detail to compete with the piece on top. The 38-centimetre plate is the widest in the single-unit range, which lets it take broad bases without any overhang.
The choice of colour is not incidental. Black erases the support beneath the work and suits a dark or high-contrast interior. White places the piece in a lighter logic, closer to gallery convention, and bounces light back under the sculpture.

Choosing the right height
One hundred centimetres suits a work whose focal point — the face, the gesture, the detail that carries the subject — sits between 40 and 60 cm above its own base. If your work is smaller, the Solitaire XS sits directly on the top plate and recovers 19 centimetres. And if you plan to show several pieces, the Duo set costs less than two pedestals bought separately.

Can this pedestal stay outdoors?
It is suitable for sheltered outdoor spaces — a covered terrace, a conservatory, a protected patio. Permanent exposure to rain is not recommended without specific treatment, which we can look at.
What if my work weighs more than 50 kg?
We build reinforced pedestals to order. Send us the weight, the footprint of the base and the height you need and we will assess it.
How does this differ from the Contemporanio pedestal?
The Contemporanio has a 35 cm plate rather than 38 and a matt finish. The Solitaire offers a slightly wider bearing surface.
Can the top plate hold more than one piece?
Yes, 38 × 38 cm allows a small arrangement, particularly by adding a Solitaire XS to create a second level.

A 100 cm pedestal with a 38 cm square top, designed and made in France from steel. The Solitaire is one of our standard models: held in stock and ready to ship quickly.
For a different configuration — specific heights, a particular finish, a format outside the range — we also build customised pedestals, with a manufacturing time of 4 to 6 weeks depending on the complexity of the project.
DELIVERY
At 7 kg, the Solitaire is among the easiest models to receive: a single piece, a single parcel, and light enough to handle without help.
Shipping is handled by DPD, within 3 to 5 working days of dispatch. Express delivery via Chronopost remains available on request, for a private view or an exhibition with a fixed date.
