Tertio: three nesting pedestals for a three-level composition

Three steel pedestals at 90, 95 and 100 cm, nesting one inside the other. It is the most requested configuration in the range, because three is the first number that genuinely lets you compose.

With two pedestals you create a contrast. With three you build a line: a low point, a high point, and an element that links them. The sections widen as the heights rise — 30, 34 then 38 cm square — so the tallest pedestal is also the broadest, and the group stands up visually.

The nesting design does the rest. Stored, the three take the space of one; deployed, they cover most of what an ordinary hang requires. That trade-off between range and footprint is why this set comes up so often in gallery orders.

Collectors and private buyers

For a collector who owns several pieces by one artist, or from one series, the Tertio lets you show them together without setting them against each other. The effect is immediate in a large room or on a stair landing.

Artists and sculptors

This is the reference set for a fair stand or a studio opening: three works presented properly are enough to give a reading of a body of work. The whole set travels in an estate car.

Museums, galleries and art centres

The Tertio works as the base unit of a display-furniture stock. The three formats recombine from one exhibition to the next, and can be topped up set by set without any break in the range from one year to another.

Councils and public institutions

Composing with the Tertio

The most effective arrangement is not a line ordered by height, which produces a slightly mechanical staircase effect. Set the middle pedestal back instead: you get a triangle, and visitors walk around the group rather than reading it left to right.
