Quatuor(S): four low pedestals for display cases and small pieces
Four nesting pedestals from 40 to 55 cm, stepped in five-centimetre increments. The most complete set in the low range, designed for small-format objects and display-case presentation.
Forty centimetres is seat height. An object placed at that level is looked at standing, eyes down, or seated, straight on — two very different situations from the tall pedestal. The Quatuor(S) gives four positions in that zone, where most ranges stop at one.
Like all our nesting sets, the four pedestals stack inside one another. The complete set weighs around 18 kg, which one person can still handle and an ordinary vehicle can still carry.
- Four low heights: 40, 45, 50 and 55 cm

- Total weight of the set: approximately 18 kg
- Safe working load of 50 kg per pedestal

Who this model is for
Collectors and private buyers
For a collection of small-format objects — ceramics, animal bronzes, archaeological pieces — that four heights finally allow you to present as a group rather than an accumulation.
Artists and sculptors
Useful for showing a series. Four low pedestals aligned at regular intervals reveal the progression of a body of work in a way a single pedestal never can.
Museums, galleries and art centres
Four heights make an accessible route easier to design: the same object can be shown at a level suited to younger visitors without compromising the reading for someone standing.
Councils and public institutions
Suited to fitting out a reception display, a tourist office or a permanent heritage space. Durable equipment with no consumables and no maintenance. Quotations on request.
Presenting a series of objects
With a series, resist the temptation to vary the height for every piece. Two alternating levels are enough to create rhythm; four different levels scatter attention and stop the viewer perceiving what links the objects together.
If the pieces are small and precious, think about lighting before choosing the colour: white bounces light and illuminates the underside of the object, black absorbs it and deepens the contrast. Our article on the base of a statue goes further into these choices.
Frequently asked questions
How does this differ from the Tertio(S) set?
The Tertio(S) comprises three pedestals from 45 to 55 cm. The Quatuor(S) adds a fourth, lower and slimmer, at 40 × 22 × 22 cm.
Are these pedestals suitable for shop fitting?
Yes, that is one of their common uses. The low heights let you fill a display across several planes, and the nesting format simplifies storage between window schemes.
Can they be combined with the tall pedestals?
Yes. The sections are shared with the Quatuor set, which lets you build a consistent eight-pedestal group spanning 40 to 100 cm.
Four low supports, a single footprint
The Quatuor(S) lines up four steel sculpture pedestals for display cases and small pieces. Metal takes the repeated handling this kind of presentation involves without marking, where a wooden support records every move.
The four stands nest and move in one go, which matters during a case installation or a private view where handling space is scarce. Endlessly recyclable steel, French manufacture.
